"Double Amnesia"

(working title)

The original idea:

Imagine you're a guy, and you wake up one day in a strange room.  You're on the floor by a bed, and you're half wrapped in the bed's white sheet but otherwise naked.  You have a pair of handcuffs on one wrist, a black lace bra in your other hand, and the matching panties on your head.

Seconds after you open your eyes, and before you realize your current state, a man of about age 45 looks in the open door to see you.  He knows who you are, but you don't know him, or at least you don't think you do.

The last thing you remember from what you think was the day before is hitching a ride into town.  A guy about your own age gave you a lift in his truck, but he wanted to make a stop at a bar\diner type place.

You both got out of the truck, for some reason you got ahead of him for a moment, then you felt a sharp pain to the back of your head, and then everything went black.

You talk with the guy that found you in the room and you find out that you've had amnesia for the passed week, and it seems that you've just gotten your memory back back, except for that week.

You really start to wonder what happened during that week when you find your hair has been cut and the man notices a message written on your back in lipstick.

I haven't decided exactly what the story's conflict will be, but perhaps something having to do with the owner of the black lace underclothes being kidnapped, and it being up to you to save her, or something like that.

Some other things you've found are that you've given away all your shirts and bought new one's that you really don't care much for, but they're okay since you have no other.  You find that the room is one of many for rent above the bar\diner.

In the bar, you've seem to have made a lot of friends and even some enemies, and a couple of people fear you.  In short, you weren't yourself during that week since you didn't really know who yourself was.

Another "in short" is that the female you have to rescue is someone your other self was attracted to, but there's this other female that you end up being attracted to, and it's this female who happen to be the one who kept you from being robbed buy the guy that knocked you out, but she left the scene when the people from the bar came out to see what the commotion was about.

She's also the one you gave your clothes to.  She lives in another room above the bar but keeps pretty much to herself.  You happen to see each other and you notice that she was wearing clothes similar to yours, but you didn't like them much so you asked her if she wanted them since they were just t-shirts, and she took them.

By the end of the story, you've saved the other female who winds up being bummed that you're no longer the person you were because she really liked you, and you wind up getting together with the female you gave your shirts to, and you got your old shirts back.

Idea 2.0:

You're a regular guy with a mild to moderate interest in martial arts, but this interest is revealed only enough to support the rest of the story.

At maybe age 25-28, you suffer a serious blow to the head, and you black out.

What seems to be soon after that, you wake up naked, on the floor, beside a bed, in an unknown location, half wrapped in a white sheet.

Off of your left wrist hangs a pair of handcuffs, in your right hand is a black lace bra, and you discover that the matching panties are on your head.

Your head hurts, but you feel generally different as well.

The room looks old and is obviously a bedroom, but the furishings are cliched enough that you are almost certain that it's rented.

You stand up and go to the mirror where you see an almost unfamilar face.  You stare in awe and confusion at what seems to be an older version of yourself.  Not elderly, by any means, but you're obviously no longer in your mid to late 20's.

It's not all bad, though.  You're buff and rugged looking.  You notice scars on your chest and arms serving as more evidence of time passed.  Something feels weird on your back, so you turn to get a look.

Written across your back in red lipstick is a note.  It says something to the effect of "we have her" and then gives a time and location of some sort.

Later, you step out of the room into a hallway.  You hear music and people talking from down a starcase.  Your door is the middle door along that wall, but at the right end, separated from the staircase by a partition, is another door perpendicular.

     Downstairs, you discover a half-bar/half-diner.

In this version, roughly 10 years have passed.  You follow clues on your adventure.  You gradually discover things about what you've been doing the past 10 years.  Fights reveal that you apparently learned some serious martial arts, as skills unexpectedly bleed through.

You find that you've made a few good friends, a few bad enemies, and some people are just plain scared of you.

The quiet girl/woman who lives in the room at the end of the hall is permitted to stay in exchange for basically serving as housekeeping for the few rented rooms over the bar.  She prefers to stay out of the bar while it's open, but she does clean it up when it's closed.

The kidnapped woman is the one your alter ego likes, but you develope mutual feelings for the quieter female as she and others help you on your adventure.  She's the one sticking with you, because she doesn't think it's safe for you to be doing any of it alone.

Your alter ego was not exactly a bad guy, but pretty close to only just.  The quiet female was not his type, and vice versa, in terms of personality, just as the kidnapped female is not yours.

Insert a much more complex plot, plenty of fighting, some romance and comedy, and there you have it.

In the end, you get the quiet female, but you're both friendly with the kidnapped female... and other stuff.
