A Child's View Of Life
A child's dream,
of shadows fallen.
A hand to hold,
a field to run in.

A place to sit,
by a running stream.
Squinted eyes,
at the sun's gleam.

Fresh green grass,
sways in the wind.
The sweet smell of summer,
that breezes send.

A butterfly's wings,
as it flutters by.
As light as the clouds,
across the blue sky.

Wild flowers to pick,
then give away.
Young animals together,
forever play.

The joyous laughter,
and burdenless sighs.
The dream within,
the smiling eyes.
