"The Story: Book 3"

Not really a whole lot sorted out for book 3 either.  In book 2, the good guys will reveal the mastermind's plan to all of the five kingdoms.  All of the kingdoms must unite.  Maybe the conspiring kingdom is still a threat.  Not decided.

In either case, book 3 is preparation for the grand invasion and then the big battle.

Back in book 1, the group will be walking through a forest.  It will be chilly, so Crysta will be wearing a hooded robe for warmth.

The escaped Jaba Wokai will discover them and attack, but it will not be a quick, immediate attack scene.  Somehow, Crysta will get separated from the rest by just enough distance where the Jaba Wokai would be able to kill her before the others could reach her in time, but they can see her and it.

It will rush towards her, ready to kill, then her hood will fly fall off.  Maybe she stumbles or something.

At the sight of her, the Jaba Wokai cries out and cowers in terror.  There will certainly be more to it, but Crysta will approach the creature and be kind to it.

The creature is conflicted by the fact that her skin is black, but she does not smell of the black muck.  She spends time befriending the creature, but they eventually have to leave to continue on their way.  The creature is confused, but stays behind.

Sensha, Mike and Crysta talk about the creature and C.S. Lewis' Jabberwocky, but for mostly silent Grom, this was his first look at what had only been a rumor of the creatures the smaller continent had fighting for them.  And the fact that it was subdued to Crysta might prove useful: The true reason he let Crysta come back in book 2.

In the final battle, Crysta will "control" the escaped Jaba Wokai, and it will be with her on their side of the battlefield.

On the other side will be a great army of men and creatures rushing to attack, with creatures taking a fast lead.  Before reaching the opposing army, the Jaba Wokai see Crysta and one of their own.  They are a little confused, but continue.  Suddenly, Crysta's Jaba Wokai let's out it's piercing cry then takes off towards them.

Further confused, the front-liners slow down a little, then stop as Crysta's enters their group but keeps running past them.  Each one that Crysta's passes stops in confusion and looks back.

Crysta's lets out another cry, but the others don't move.  Another cry, then another, then instinct begins to kick in, and the standing ones begin rushing towards Crysta's.

Because they do have some intelligence, Crysta's is able to "convince" them to go ahead and attack the people they had been trained to not attack.  And having seen Crysta's with the kind of people that they HAD be trained to attack, and him not attacking them, they basically switched the target of their training.

When they started rushing towards the bad guys, Sensha, who is leading the good guy army, signals the attack, and then the good guys start rushing.

The bad guys arrived on many massive ships and they significantly outnumbered the good guy.

The good guys included the armies of all five kingdoms, warriors of the neutral land, and everyone from the martial compound.

The Jaba Wokai definitely have an impact, but sheer numbers on the side of the bad guys starts them dwindling.  Fortunately, the good guys are right behind them.

Crysta and Mike hang back a bit.  They are the least trained, so they do not exactly want to be in the thick of it.  Still, Mike's no slouch, and Crysta has learned a few things, so they are still in the fight.  Crysta's son stayed with her, to make sure she's doesn't get hurt, and Mike is lending a hand, being adequately impressive.

It turns out that Grom is actually pretty damn skillful, and had been holding back while he was incognito.  His relationships with all the healers provided him with a lot of useful information regarding vulnerable areas.

Sensha is, of course, kicking ass.  The warriors of the martial compound are nearly naked and sending body parts flying everywhere.

The mysterious man.  His face is unseen as he draws his sword for the first time.

Able to move more quickly than the others, he runs ahead of the rest of the group and enters the fray alone but for the creatures, but they are ahead of him, and countless bad guys are already on him.

In a non-stop flurry of movement like water, he remains untouched as he leaves a trail of bodies behind him.

He fights his way to the beach, where ships full of soldiers continue to run aground and open with an outpour of men, reminiscent of soldiers storming the beaches in WWI.

He stops at a ship that has just arrived.  The plank drops and shouting soldiers stop in confusion.

Side view:  He leaps into the ship.  We hear metal on metal, battle shouting, bodies and limbs fly out of the ship at first.  All the noise diminishes to quiet, and then he walks out, immediately heading to the next ship to pull up.

Back view of him:  He waits, the ramp drops, the soldiers are confused, and he leaps forward.  Switch scene.

I don't really have anything in mind for how they deal with the warlord and ultimately the mastermind.  I'm thinking that he will flee to Earth, but maybe Mike will be able to follow.  The portal will close, but maybe the rest get a portal opened soon after to back him up.

I literally have no ending for this trilogy, but Crysta will return home, possibly with her son.  Mike, however, will decide to stay, and maybe Crysta will say, "I know".
