Running
I was running to you,
when you smiled at me.
Seeing joy run through you,
laughing 'cause we're free.

Again I'm falling for you,
and again you catch me.
Laughing at the sky blue,
and everything we see.

Leaving prints behind us,
running far away.
No problems here to blind us,
only want to play.

No responsibilities to find us,
no attention to pay.
Don't have to wait for a bus,
just running all the way.

Flying high on life's surprise,
letting time go by.
No worries if the sun will rise,
never need to cry.

Happy when the birdie flies,
across the wind-blown sky.
Going on with smiling eyes,
running with no reason why.
I wish I had a greater stamina for running.
