A Happy Merry Christmas Poem
It's Christmas again,
and you know.
Snow may fall,
and wind may blow.

Never forget,
that even so.
The Christmas bran muffins,
will keep up the flow.

Even if the fruitcake,
cracks the floor.
And white, poison berries,
hang above the door.

You would never expect,
anything more.
Because that is,
what Christmas is for.

Even if Santa,
puts a hole in the roof.
You can use it to show,
the children as proof.

As well as the print,
outside, of the hoof.
That this whole Santa thing,
isn't a spoof.

Even as you sing,
your Yuletide song.
And tone-deaf relatives,
sing along.

Everyone feels,
that they belong.
Though you may feel,
that they may be wrong.

You put up with them,
and put on your smile.
And joke and play,
and laugh all the while.

And controlling the kids,
is more error than trial.
You have developed,
your ability to beguile.

The family works together,
to put out the tree.
Then buys another one,
for the world to see.

I hope you can handle it,
and for this to be.
A very merry Christmas,
to you from me.
If you do Christmas, then I hope it's better than this. :)
