So You've Got Those Eyes
So you've got blue eyes,
the color of the ocean.
The depths of the blood of earth,
putting life in motion.

So you've got gray eyes,
the color of a cloud of rain.
The heights of the source of blood,
healing life that is in pain.

So you've got those eyes,
eyes I saw when first you came.
The only ones that could ever have,
the power to control my flame.

So you've got those eyes,
eyes I saw when you returned.
That give me the power to contain,
the fire inside for you that burned.
This poem was inspired by part of the song, "Temptation", by New Order.
If you listen to the song, then you'll know which part.
