Cloudburst
Take me to your castle in the clouds.

Let me see your skin when the moon is out.
Let me see the light shine on it,
as your fingers slide along it.
Show me what you know I can't live without.

Raindrops cover you every time you move.

It gives me a feeling I just can't lose.
When I see the raindrops on you,
I see you wet and then I want you.
Nothing else exists to have to make me choose.

When you place your lips upon me to make your mark.
I can feel our bodies begin to spark.
We can see the lightning striking,
we can feel each other tightening.
I see your body glowing in the dark.

I beg you to do what is only just.
You've taken me this high so you know you must.
Then I hear you shout the thunder,
you lift your head to the moon we're under.
And every breath you take is a raging gust.

Torrents tremble head to toe,
as we flood the down-below.
All is crashing in the flow.
When we run out that's when the rush will slow.
This poem was inspired by the song, "Dream Lover", by The Rebel Pebbles.
