ELATION!
Oh joyous joy of fondling eyes
to read the name and their surprise

The Master's grace bestowed upon
a mercy for so waited long

The smile and words beheld by mine
who's dances throttle every line

Of news and joys and minor pain
the joys but sad and happy again

To flutter mind and heart of high
the silent cry and lifted sigh

Of hope and more to come is sought
while holds in joy the one has brought
The ninth Kass poem.

At this point it's been a while since I graduated from high school,
which was the end of my seeing Kass on a virtually daily basis,
but we had kept in touch by writing to each other, and she lived only a few blocks away,
but I went to her house on only a few occasions.

She eventually moved out of that house, but stayed in town, and then I did not hear from her for about a month, or so.
Then, one day, I got a letter from her. This poem is pretty much how I felt about that.
