The hopeless have no dreams to shatter
Have no fear of any matter

Never depressed or suicidal
Never hide behind denial

Never kill and never lie
Never worry and never cry

If we're supposed to live that way
then why keep hope in every day

Is happiness something unnecessary
when sadness is something they forgot

Like all else, the answer we must choose
and so I choose, and so I hope not.

It was something I was pondering.  I like the double meaning of the phrase, "I hope not".
