And The Week's Not Over

I'm writing this to possibly do the job of all the sleep I'm missing.  It's been a busy, busy week.  Actually, it's been longer than a week, but I did get some good sleep on Sunday.  Anyway, I'm just going to go over various little things that have went on this week.

I don't really remember much about Monday.  I guess nothing of great interest happened.  I remember two things: I had to get up early, and the computer memory I ordered hadn't arrived yet.

I had ordered a CORSAIR ValueSelect 512MB (2 x 256MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Dual Channel Kit System Memory from Newegg.com last week, and it arrived on Tuesday, so I was able to upgrade from my 128MB status.  My computer is running faster, and I can finaly play Neverwinter Nights, again.  Well, I will when I get some my files from my sister's computer, on which I had some saves, mods, and characters.  I can play without them, but dun wanna.

On Wednesday, my niece was in the yard doing some work.  We have a large metal barrel that has sticks in it, and when she was near it, she heard what sounded like a cat.  There was a bucket, of sorts, upside-down over the sticks, and she did not want to check it out herself, so she had me go out.  Inside was a very small kitten.

I suspect that he was put there by someone, given the bucket over the sticks.  The cat's right eye was sealed shut, so I took it into the house and moistened the eye with a wet Q-Tip, let it set for a minute, then started separating the eyelids.  A mass of pus gushed out.

I had hoped that the eye was not damaged, or worse, poked out, by the sticks, and fortunately it was okay.  I'm not really sure why it was sealed and pus-filled.  It didn't look like anything was wrong with it.  I tried to give it some milk in a small measuring cup, but he kept trying to gnaw on the side if the cup.  I figured he was trying to suckle, so I tried an eye-dropper, but that didn't work as well as I had hoped.  My niece went to buy a small baby bottle, and that finally did the trick.

So, today, I fed the cat some more milk after I got up unfortunately early (again).  His eye was still fine, and I discovered that he doesn't even have teeth yet, which I guess makes sense, given the instinct to suckle.  I fed him again during a brief visit back to the house, and while I was gone again, my niece went to see if her mother wanted the cat, as if she needs yet another animal.  Turns out she wasn't home, so my niece moved on to my other sister.  My other sister has a cat who recently gave birth, and that mother let this kitten suckle.  Problem solved.

But today wasn't all gums and cat tits.  I smashed two fingers, on the fingernails, and they are still pulsing a little, even ten, or so hours later.  Getting them smashed was very painful.  It hurt like the Dickens.  Or like I had smashed my dick ends.  I guess that was funnier in concept.

Gotta get up early again tomorrow, and I've already stayed up later than I'd have prefered, so I guess I'll wrap this up.  Oh, one last thing.  I thought of another t-shirt.  On the back of it, have printed something like, "Keep quiet.  I have a fear of amusing t-shirts."
