Glenn Beck did a special hour showing a variety of extremist-related things that you just don't see in the mainstream American media. The links go to YouTube pages that feature video segments. I highly recommend watching the full episode, but if not that, then just a few of the clips. The clips range from about 5 minutes to about 1 minute in length. While I was checking them out for content, I saw another video entitled "Glenn Beck making outrageous claims about Muslims in America", and I just had to check it out. It's always fascinating to see the comments from people who are in the opposition of people like Glenn Beck. There's something I've noticed about them. About 95% of the time, all they do is call the person names or cite American flaws that are like 100 times less significant than what is being said about the extremists. I never see them actually refuting what is said about the extremists. I feel compelled to mention that what most of what America hears about what's going on in the Middle East is what they hear from American "journalists", politicians, their friends and peers, or political entertainers, and even if you combined all that together, you're not even scratching the surface. I like to go straight to the source; get it straight from the horses mouth. One of the things I like about Glenn is that he actually provides the horse. This special provides video footage of the President of Iran speaking to his own people. It provides footage of Iranians and Iranian news. And more. It's a position I've held for a while now. You don't really have to listen to any American. You don't have to believe what Glenn Beck says, or what the President or any political figure says. Screw them all, if you want. Listen instead to what the extremist's are saying and doing, and make your discisions based on that. Sadly, only a tiny fraction of American media actually WANTS to tell you what the extremists are really saying and doing in anywhere near sufficient detail, if at all.

Or if you would rather not watch any of them, here's a few important tidbits, paraphrased and not all necessarily from the show. The President of Iran has nuclear technology and nuclear material. He has expressed and intention to build nuclear weapons. An intention to wipe Israel off the map. An intention to destroy America and Western civilization. The Muslim extremists want Iraq, because it is prophecized that it will be, basically, the Islamic capital when the entire planet has been converted. So, I'm thinking we should do what we can to keep them from getting Iraq. The messiah will come after millions have died, according to prophecy, so the Iranian leader wants to hasten armageddon to bring about the time of peace when all the world is under Islamic law. The children are raised to, and taught in school to, hate Jews and Christians, and basically that they should aspire to kill them when they get older. Iranian news is state run, meaning nothing is seen that the President of Iran doesn't approve of being shown, and they apparently have no problem flat-out lying to their viewers. |
