The dream started with me trying to decide which movie I wanted to see at a two-screen theater.  In the dream, I kind of knew what one movie was, but I wasn't quite so interested in seeing it, so I was trying to find out what the other one was.

  I never did find out, but I then found myself in the room where the former movie was starting to play.  Since it was too late to worry about it, I decided to go ahead and watch this one, and I would just change my frame of mind so that I would just better enjoy it.

  The movie started, but it was not what seemed to be the beginning.  I guess the dream got right to the important part, but it wasn't too far from the beginning.

  On the screen, apparently a man had previously divorced his blonde (noted only for the sake of description) wife and was now with a brown-haired female who had a baby, though I think it was not his.  Though the two females were not close friends, they did not dislike each other, though the ex-wife was not all too thrilled to be around the ex-husband.

  The actual scene showed the brown-haired female was, or so it appeared, getting into a car with her baby while the man had his arm out sort of guiding her.  The ex-wife was about 7 feet away and leaning on the top of a low, stone wall, watching them.  They had all apparently just been talking about something.  It was a short scene.

  The dream then changed a little, and this transition was "fuzzy", but not in the literal sense.  Again, I was shown only the important bits that smoothed the transfer.

  The ex-husband was actually an actor hired to aid in what the brown-haired female was seeing.  This requires further explanation.  A little later in the dream, I found out that a young man was performing an experiment, or something like that.  I say experiment, because no ultimate goal of the young man was revealed to me.

  At the beginning of the next phase of the dream, I found myself in a private school classroom, and the young man was a fellow student, but he was manipulating all the other students' minds with hypnosis.  Each of them was programmed to go into and out of their own dreamlike state when they hear certain activation and deactivation words.  I'm not sure about the activation word, but each of the students had a different deactivation word, and the young man changed them every time one of the students was activated.

  This brown-haired female was actually a student who sat in front of me, and the young man was making her think she had done what she had done in the movie, though it was like real life for her.

  Side Note: The whole, movie for me then real life for her, thing is the first example of how the dream evolved and moved from one phase to another.  While the actor was there before and served a valuable purpose to the young man, during the part where the young man is actually there, the actor does not exist.

  I was aware of what was going on, but I played along so I wouldn't be found out, plus I could be sent into my "dream" state and brought out of it, be aware of the transition, and maintain the memory of both states, unlike all the others.

  The young man started out having each person in their own "dream" world, but then started putting to people in the same one, and this started a sort of next phase in the dream, where every person was making the same physical actions in "real life" as they are in there "dreams", as opposed to when they had previously just sat still in their chairs "asleep".

  There were many details I don't recall, but the next significant part was where the principal, or head mistress, of the school was confronting the young man about what he was doing.  She had known all about his actions and did not approve, but since she had no proof, she was powerless to stop him, so she begrudgingly let him continue, but now she'd had enough.

  The young man, and his two cronies who just stood around watching, were pretty much in charge of the place, but his only interest was in those students in that classroom.  The four were in the principal's office, with the young man sitting on her desk with her standing in front of him.

  She was in her 60's, so she was a little afraid of him, but still brave enough to confront him.  Behind her was an above-floor pool/fountain.  It was like a pool in that it was about 20 x 15 feet and had water in it, but it was like a fountain in that it was cement and only about two feet deep, though it had no actual spouting fountain.

  There was no clear dialogue, but she wanted him to stop what he was doing to the students, and he wanted her to stop opposing him.  He, or one of his cronies, pushed her backwards into the water, and then pulled a lever that started the water churning at her end.  She was spun and tossed and splashed, yet still in no danger of drowning, then she was sort of spat out back into a standing position, and if she opposed him again, then worse would happen to her.

  I'm missing more details, but the next significant part was back in the classroom where everyone was connected into the same "dream".  I don't recall exactly what it was, but it took place in the school, and everyone was free to run around and have fun, but in "real life", the result was the students wrecking the school.  Objects in the dream were different from, but coincided with, objects in "real life", so they had no idea they were wrecking the place.
