Her Nature
Black birds drop red long-stem roses
onto your grave
Moving shadow slowly closes
with love you gave

All your hours undone
All you left to one

Night cats sit beside your headstone
with watchful eyes
Figure walks and stands near alone
but feels your ties

All your hours undone
All you left to one

Gray clouds hide the day once bright
winds blow softly through the leaves
You had inside the day and night
and only one believes

Raindrops fall and lightly cover
figure's mourning clothes
All that was inside the lover
within the figure flows

All your hours undone
All you left to one
This poem was inspired by, and written to, the song, "All These Hours Undone", by Anything Box.

In the poem, the physical embodiment of Mother Nature had died, leaving her mate behind.
