I was going to address this topic a month ago, but I stopped feeling like it before I got around to it.  But then I decided to watch the Rush Limbaugh CPAC speech.  After that, I watched some of the Ann Coulter speech.

  Well, this is not about them or their speeches.  It's not even about anything they spoke about.

  This is about, in part, some of the comments that were left.


  Last month, or so, I heard something that added to something I'd noticed long previously.  And seeing only a few of the comments left regarding the speeches, now there are even more examples to add to the massive wad.

  What is this massive wad of which I speak, you may ask?  The massive wad of examples of Liberals wishing people dead.



  I'm not a huge history buff, but when I go through the list of political figures that were asassinated or had asassination attempts made on them, I see people who are either Republicans, Conservatives, or espouse beliefs that modern Liberals oppose.

  I'd like someone to give me some names of political figures asassinated (or attemptedly so) by a person espousing true Conservative values.

  For those who may not be clear, this does not include members of the KKK or Neo-Nazis.


  Now, if you cannot come up with any such examples, then just offer some anecdotes of a Conservatives verbally wishing a Liberal, or anyone else, dead.





  Let's see, in an episode of The Whitest Kids, You Know, one of the guys talked a little about censorship and saying something to the effect of the only thing you can be arrested for saying is something like "I want to kill the President of the United States", or wishing the president was dead in some other combination of words.  I forget the exact phrase.

  Point being, he would say it with a metaphorical wink, a pause, and then "continue" the sentence with something like "...is something you're not allowed to say.  He did this numerous times during the bit.



  I heard another guy recounting something that happened where he went to college.  Back when Reagan was president, this guy was in a room with a bunch of Liberals.  Someone with bad information burst into the room, excitedly shouting, President Reagan has been asassinated, or something to that effect.

  All the Liberals cheered with joy.



  I really wish I could remember more details about this next one, but a Liberal was talking about a particular black man, and she said something to the effect of she wished he would die of heart failure like so many other black men his age.

  It was in the news briefly.



  Then, of course, we have Wanda Sykes wishing his kidneys would fail.  I'm pretty sure that results in death, but I'm willing to let that go, since it's not always a foregone conclusion with medical intervention.



  But back to the comments, there were things like, when is someone going to kill him, I wish he would just die, and a few other variations for both he and Ann.



  The reason I ask for examples is because, in spite of how much I hear conservatives talk, and how much I hear about conservatives, I have yet to ever hear of a single example of a conservative wishing anyone dead, with the possible exception of Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, rapists, child molesters, and/or spouse abusers.


  And yet with an equal or lesser exposure to Liberal's talk, I have multiple examples of the wishing dead of people who are not remotely comparable to the aforementioned, even though I'm sure any given Liberal would love to fabricate some comparison, and do so with great ease, sacrificing logic in the process.





  So, what can Conservatives learn from all this?

  Well, if the evil, hate-filled Conservatives want to raise themselves to the exalted heights of the morally superior, compassionate, loving, infinitely tolerent Liberals, then they are apparently going to have to start wishing more people dead.

  ...and judging people by the color of their skin, instead of the content of their character.

  ...and turning people into government pets.

  ...killing unborn human beings.

  ...taking away people's Liberties.

  ...stealing money from its rightful owners.

  ...not enforcing existing laws that protect the country.
