Hannibal Lector Revisited
Sunday, October 1, 2000

This dream was about a movie, but not quite as if watching the movie in a theater.  It was like watching the actions play out in real life, but there being switches from scenes to scenes.  The movie I dreamed does not exist, so it was purely of my mind's own making.

I'm sure everyone has heard of The Silence of the Lamb, and perhaps some of you have heard of the movie, Instinct.  Well, I dreamed there was a sequel to The Silence Of The Lamb.  FYI, I have not actually seen Instinct, yet.  Anyway, in this movie, scientist cloned Hannibal Lector, and he lived a normal life.

Anthony Hopkins is Hannibal's clone.  He has a different name, though I don't know or recall what it is, and he does not know that he is a clone.  He met a young woman, who was played by Renee Zelwegger (sp?).  The clone lead a rather private life, and he and the girl were moderately interested in each other.

They were seeing each other, and she was sleeping with him at night, but they were not having sex.  She liked him well enough, but he would occasionally exhibit tiny little quirky moments that made her just a tad uneasy.

From my view, a few times the scenes of them would be overlaid by a sort of computer view of a green wire monitor view.  Computerized wire-looking visuals over a television view, if that's a better description.

Basically, the guy's entire life was being monitored by the group or company who created him; or should I say by the person ultimately in charge of the group or company who created him.  He was studying him to see if genetics had any influence on behavior.

In the dream, the quirky moments were supposed to be tiny bits Hannibal's own qualities trying to peak through, but not succeeding.
