I had a lot of interesting dreams, today, but check this one out.

  A man was living in what seemed to be a sort of apartment building, and he wanted to gain as much intelligence as possible.

  [I will be distinguishing between two males by calling one a "guy" and one a "man".]

  He has kidnapped this one guy and kept him in a secret room.  The guy was kept strapped to a chair and hooked up to two machines by wires.

  The man was kidnapping smart people, taking them to the secret room, then draining their more intelligent information and feeding it into the guy's brain.

  The guy was kept asleep, and he was nutritionally maintained by a continuous feed from a large tub of strange liquid made from some of the other temporarily kidnapped people.  Those people who were released, left with less intelligence than when they were captured, and they were no threat to the man.

  There was one female prisoner that the man had hooked up to the guy on occasion.  This female allowed the guy to dream so that he would think he was living a normal life, which also allowed him to maintain a constant amount of brain activity.

  The other machine the guy was hooked to was a computer that recorded all his intelligence after it was fed into his brain, and it also kept a constant record of what new intelligence he developed by the combining of all the fed intelligence.
