Doll & Dayne

I had quite an intriguing dream, or more to the point, two aspects of the dream were quite intriguing.

The dream felt as if it were in my past.  It took place in my room, and it was basically arranged the way it was somewhere in the vicinity of ten years ago, except the room was larger, therefore had more empty space in the middle.

There were other things going on in the dream, but some I don't recall, and others just were not all that important to me.  Here's what grabbed me.

I was sitting on my bed, and there were one or two other people in the room, as well as a female something on the bed beside me.  It's not like me to share the strangest part first, but this is the order things went.

This female was like a fabricated child.  She was real, but was shaped in an almost cartoon-like manner.  She looked like she might have been about 5 or 6 years old, but mentally she seemed closer to... well, I'm not entirely sure.

She was generally quiet, but not so much shy, but still a little timid.  She did not say or do enough for me to make a judgment call, and dream knowledge seemed to tell me only so much.

I knew she was a child, physically and mentally, but she was mature for her age.  But here's the strange part.

Her body was a translucent white.  She was almost like a doll.  She had a separate layer of almost clear skin over a milky body mass with no showing details of musculature or bones.

The outer layer of skin was flexible, but still kind of dry and hard.  Something like a leather upholstery.

That layer was also decorated by simple line drawings of under sea life, though in large print.  The print was large enough that nothing was seen in completion, but you could still tell what the things were.

Her head and face has some simplified seaweed pictures drawn in black or very dark blue.  They were single lines with rows of small leaves on either side.  These draped down from beneath her hair.

Her torso had a partially overlapping assortment of sea creatures, like a whale and an octopus.  These were drawn in some blues, dark greens, and some red.  There were some others, but I did not get a good look.  All simple line drawings.

The child's lips looked like they were excessively dry, being fully rimmed with thin wrinkles, but despite that, I felt that she looked beautiful.

I knew that the longer I looked at her face and eyes, the more I would become emotionally enthralled with her.  The other people in my room were also deserving of my attention, so that kept me from starring at her too long.

A little bit later, but still at the same time as the above, the other two people left, and a new visitor came in with someone.  The visitor was a woman, and she brought a teenaged girl with her.

The woman's motive was unclear, but it felt vaguely as if there was some hope that I might hook up with the girl.

The teen was a normal human and had long, dark blonde hair that was thick and curly.  Her hair and her face reminded me of Taylor Dayne from her first album, if that helps anyone.  She looked like what one might speculate Taylor Dayne may have looked like as a teen.

This girl, however, seemed to be more interested in dancing than in singing.  At some point, the woman had her demonstrate her abilities.  The teen did a few ballet turns with one foot out, but it was all a little clumsy, because she was forced to avoid hitting things in the room.

The thing about both of the young females is that, while neither showed any intense attraction towards me, I got the sense that both could have form the attraction, just as I was beginning to feel it when I looked at them, though more so on both parts with the younger one.
