This design started from me imagining a situation I would find desirable.  It was just a brief moment.

  My mate and I live in a loft on about the third floor of a building.  It's also the top floor.

  I come down the stairs, one sunny morning, to see her standing nude in the window.  She's has her hands against the sides of the alcove, or they, and her whole body, is pressed against the glass.  The window faces east and overlooks a large body of water.

  That's the gist of it.  At any rate, I had the basic design of the loft in mind.  I also imagined a different situation in the loft, but with that one, the loft had some slight design differences.

  In this floor plan, I combined the two different designs into one.  I also managed to add a little that was in neither original design.

  The picture below gives you an idea of the situation.  Of course, the imagined mate was not that skinny, and she struck a much more attractive pose.
