Sobi
Sink beneath the surface skin,
feel the soul that flows within.

Reaching deeper to the mind,
beyond the shell there is to find.

The truth of being of the one,
remains unique yet unlike none.

Surface flesh senses divine,
touch goes on without decline.

Peer at one through spirit windows,
good is seen then there love grows.

Fingers touch security,
love is felt in purity.

Evil seen at simple play,
fingers touch the sad decay.

Seen in soul, contamination,
flesh is seen in alteration.

Seen in one a soul divine,
flesh is seen beyond refine.

Seen in flesh and spirit windows,
is the beauty that the one holds.
According to a glossery in a novel, "sobi" is Japanese for 'sublime beauty'.

Basically, this poem talks about how one's personality can override one's physical appearance when observed by someone else.

People with amazing bodies and bad attitudes being lonely, and vice versa.

This poem was inspired by the song, "The Beginning Of The End", by Cause and Effect.
